Green Team Conservation Group Documentary Short (05:35)
The Green Team is a volunteer conservation group based in Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. The group aims to make awareness of the value of protecting the planets wild places and achieves this through their weekend volunteer projects for young people aged between 14 and 25. The Green Team offers single day projects often involving a variety of conservation tasks from cutting back evasive pants to pond clearing work. The group also offers the opportunity to go on two day residential weekends where young people are encouraged to take part in team building games while they are given a longer period of time to take in the outdoors and gain more skills. Many of the young people volunteer as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award and John Muir Award which have been set up to inform young people about the importance of protecting our wild places.About The Filmmaker
